Earthen Clay Smoke-Brushed Terracotta
A smoky black tea tallow candle, cradled in a natural clay vessel and infused with Choya Loban, vetiver, Omani frankincense, and Moroccan cardamom. Grounding, resinous, and subtly spiced, it’s a scent that lingers like fog rolling through the Bay.
Each vessel is shaped from locally foraged clays and minerals in collaboration with Berkeley potter Matt Fishman (featured in The New York Times). Hand-poured with suet tallow, calendula wax, and raw beeswax, these candles embody the Northern California landscape in both form and spirit.
Scent Notes: Smoky Lapsang Souchong black tea, Moroccan cardamom pods, Vietnamese Siam wood, Omani frankincense resins, Choya Loban.
